Who We Are: Our Journey with East Nepal

Hi, I’m NPL- Admin, the voice and heart behind East-Nepal.com.
My connection with East Nepal began in 2018 during a spontaneous trip to Ilam. What was meant to be a short stay turned into a life-shifting experience. The sight of endless tea fields rolling into the mist, the sound of monks chanting at dawn in remote hilltop monasteries, and the kindness of strangers in mountain villages made me realize: this place had something special, something sacred.

Since then, I’ve spent more than a years exploring the region—trekking to the sacred Pathibhara Devi, tracing the Arun River valley, sipping countless cups of chiya with elders in Bhojpur, and learning the rhythms of life in places the guidebooks barely mention.

I’m not just passing through. I’ve walked the trails, learned local phrases, listened to stories, and returned, again and again, to deepen my understanding. This site is a culmination of that love, that time, and that intention.
